Horrible service


I had horrible issues from the time I first stepped into the greyhound station. I purchased a ticket from Las Vegas to palm springs. I was no longer traveling to Las Vegas, so I called the Portland greyhound to see if I could change my ticket to a trip from Portland directly to palm springs, and pay the difference. The lady said "Yes you can, just come to the station, and we can take care of you". Great ! so I thought. Packed my things, and with my 3 month old daughter traveled down there to only get turned away. I was eventually able to get a refund, but I had to come up with the money for a new ticket in the mean time. At my layover the workers knew no information, and were sitting around doing nothing. I'm 19 with a 3 month old in a place where I never been before at 3am in the morning with no money in my pocket. A little direction would of been nice. Long story short, there were no outlets on my last bus (which are advertised everywhere), my phone had died. I had to wait a long time to contact my family to come pick us up. I called greyhound call center (214-849-8966) After being on hold for 17 min I finally got on the line with a lady. There were numerous holds, but the lady said that I was able to get a credit for my next trip of $100. I told her I will never travel greyhound again so that wouldn't help me. She then said I could also receive the $100 as a refund, which would be sent via check in the mail, and it takes 7-14 business days to receive. Now going into the 3rd business week I have nothing, so I call back to check on the status of my case. The gentlemen then said there are NO NOTES of my last call. He couldn't even locate I even traveled with greyhound ! He then went to say I am not even eligible for a refund. Being a call center you can hear other representatives in the background. I asked to speak with a supervisor, and the voice I was hearing in the back became my supervisor. Now I am awaiting a call back so "the supervisor" can pull the call. I really hope I'm not being tricked. This was my first, and LAST time EVER travelling with greyhound. I pray I can get my refund I was promised.
